This lot. The Volvo nearest us is 2003, next is a 2009 Citroen C4 Picasso, a 2006 Corsa, a 2006 Astra, an unknown Fiesta, another one hidden and finally a 2007 Renault Scénic. The black UK registered Fiesta is from 2012 but its MoT expired this year and all the rest are defunct with tax and annual tests all expired.
Why a bunch of cars, only one older than mine, have had such an early demise I’ve no idea.

I often wonder what the story is when you see good condition cars in junk yards. I looked at the MOT history from the Fiesta and it doesn’t look bad (failed for brake lights in 2/2018, but fixed and passed the same day).

In some cases it doesn’t take a lot, when you add in labor costs to give up on a car.
